Red Letter Days Launches the Junior Ferrari Experience for Christmas Wish Lists

London, United Kingdom (PRWEB) November 23, 2007 -- Most boys ask for a toy car or a driving game at Christmas. Now they, and of course girls too, can enjoy the thrill of the real thing with the launch of the Junior Ferrari experience (http://www.redletterdays.co.uk/Experience/Ref/EUPJF) from Red Letter Days, the UK's leading experience company.

Send 12-16 year old speed demons out on the track to test drive one of the world's most iconic cars. They'll start off with a welcome and short briefing from a qualified instructor, then learn the basics off-track in a Mini Cooper. Once they've mastered the Mini they'll be shown the racing lines of the track on a passenger ride in a BMW Alpina D3, before finally getting to push the pedal to the metal in a duel controlled Ferrari 360 or 550!

Instead of the little ones running rings around their parents during the holidays send them for four laps around a world class circuit, on an experience they'll never forget and never stop talking about!

Enzo Ferrari - His Story
Born in Emilia-Romagna, and raised in Modena, Italy, Enzo Ferrari grew up with little formal education but a strong desire to race cars. During World War I he was a mule-skinner in the Italian Army. His grandfather, Alfredo, died in 1916 as a result of a widespread Italian flu outbreak. Enzo became sick himself and was consequently discharged from Italian service. Upon returning home he found that the family firm had collapsed. Having no other job prospects he sought unsuccessfully to find work at Fiat and eventually settled for a job at a smaller car company called CMN redesigning used truck bodies into small, passenger cars. He took up racing in 1919 on the CMN team, but had little initial success.

Spielberg's "On the Lot" Top 100 Director Alex Ferrari Making Some Major Noise
Since not making it to the finals of Steven Spielberg's On the Lot, writer/director Alex Ferrari has not slowed down. When Alex made the Top 100 of the show and they asked him to create a short film in 6 days, "Cyn" was born. Cyn was made on a 6 day schedule (from script to final output) for under $1000 and boosts one of the craziest end title sequences ever created for a five min short film. Battle of the Mega Cars ? Ferrari v Bugatti v Jaguar
I guess the 1980?s had to leave many a legacy of which, greed, avarice, dodgy haircuts, box jackets and designer stubble were but a few! Their was however another hidden legacy that carried right through to the 1990s and that was the development and manufacture off ridiculously expensive and massively overpowered very elite road cars.
